The picture was rendered on a Smooth surface with a archival Ballpoint pen. The image was something I had envisaged in my mind for many years. My normal Ballpoint pen work is rendered on a surface with some texture and to keep the femininity I decided to go for a smooth surface. This surface takes longer to produce work but gave excellent results!

I am a self-taught artist specializing in wildlife art, residing in Norwich, United Kingdom. My passion lies in painting and drawing, where I strive to capture the beauty of the natural world.I created this painting to illustrate the fact that even the smallest creatures in our environment are at risk. Additionally, my intention is to provide future generations with a lasting visual representation of these vibrant and colorful beings. I took a photo of this frog while I was out to a zoo wth my

Walking on East Runton beach the other night the light was magical ,a real North Norfolk artist light. I took a quick photo with my phone and tried to capture it back home on the easel. This is the result, hopefully capturing a little of our wonderful North Norfolk coast line in its early evening glow.

Title or Location: Calming serenity
I love painting animals in unexpected colours, and this was one of a series I produced during 2020. It's painted in acrylics on canvas, and it was quite liberating to concentrate more on the gentle sweeping of the colours, rather than the minute details. I chose a grey background to make the horse stand out.I looked at reference photos for the shape of the head from Pixabay, but largely used my imagination for the end result.

I am a self taught artist, this piece I completed in 2022, It is just one of many that I have done, while I was using Acrylics, I chose this subject because, I thought it reflected a daughter on her big day, looking for something or somebody maybe she is desperately missing. Title or Location: Dance of the Fireflies
While this painting was drying i was having a hard time deciding what do with it as it appeared unfinished. I began taping areas of it off and became inspired to weave lines in and out of the painting. As I finished painting the lines and was removing the tape I was struck by the feeling of a fluer-de-lis and fireflies dancing. I was now enamored ....

I really enjoy painting animals. Whether it?s pet portraits or wildlife. I strive to get the animals eyes as alive as they can possibly look. Once I get the eyes like I want them, I feel like everything else comes together.

Title or Location: When Puffins Dream
This lovingly rendered mixed media painting has been a journey of exploration over many months. It is on a 24x30? gallery wrapped canvas, and is the largest canvas size I?ve worked on to date. It started as a daily journal painting for an online painting class called ?Find Your Joy?. This piece has continued to evolve to this point, where it will rest for now. Like dreams, this painting has numerous layers. Though abstract, the end result looked to me like many of the gorgeous puffins I loved
