This is my portrait of a Russian model her name I think is Polina . This painting is in oils and is inspired by a photograph by Dennis Drozhzhin . I love painting portraits and when I saw this photo from Dennis I just had to paint it with his full permission of coarse . This painting was done just because I love the challenge of getting a portrait right although it is for sale if anyone is interested .

Mankinds significant insignificance on earth will always be judged. We sleep through the damage we create from holy war to plastic in the sea and beyond. If God created Adam why so imperfect?

The insperation for this one came from the fact we have had a family of Hedgehogs living in our garden for a few years now and I feed them every night, we have an upturned large broken flower pot where we put their food to keep it dry so they know where to find it.My wife suggested I paint one and she was so pleased with the end result that she said you are not selling it I would like it on our garden room wall, so there it hangs but I didnt really mind because I think it is quite a pleasing p

I studied graphic design and art at college as a teenager in Hertfordshire, then on to desk top publishing and short courses in photoshop and illustrator programs. I?ve lived in Norfolk around 25 years mostly as a caricature artist at weddings and events. Although I have drawn on many Greek islands. Now days I have settled down with a family and draw mostly quick 5 minute caricatures of guests at weddings and corporate events around the country. I do also draw by hand with the iPad for events

An experiment using soft pastels on stretched canvas. The texture of the canvas lent itself to the pastels quite well. The image is based on a photo taken by a friend visiting Venice, Italy. By using more vibrant colors than the original, I believe it became more magical.

Title or Location: New beginnings
I'm new to oils and painting, I would say my style would be fine art and surrealism, no rules and I can escape, experiment and have fun. I painted this scene as I'd came across a beautiful photo of calla Lilly valley in California, I use the idea but made it my ownwith the colours and changed parts of it, I like the perspective and the enchanting mysterious vibe it gave. Returned to art almost a year ago, still finding my way, but determined, excited and fully motivated to reach my potential,

Title or Location: The Boats at Sunset in Bradenton
I was at The Starfish Restaurant when I captured this view on a cold day in Bradenton Florida from the dock behind the restaurant. I was fascinated by the light coming from one of the boats and the gas pump. The photograph helped me to produce this oil painting when I got home in Ohio.
