Title or Location: The Ploughing
I paint the moden countryside, modern machines, modern farming practices 21st century landscapes are very lacking with today's artists, remember history will find today's countryside quaint as Constables Hay Wain.

Title or Location: Calming serenity
I love painting animals in unexpected colours, and this was one of a series I produced during 2020. It's painted in acrylics on canvas, and it was quite liberating to concentrate more on the gentle sweeping of the colours, rather than the minute details. I chose a grey background to make the horse stand out.I looked at reference photos for the shape of the head from Pixabay, but largely used my imagination for the end result.

Title or Location: Step into Tango
My usual medium is coloured pencils and either pastel mat or draughting film for the surface.A ref photo from Pixabay was used but altered parts.I used Polychromos pencils and Caran Dache on draughting film, I like how you can get lots of layers and smooth surface.

Title or Location: Polina
This is my portrait of a Russian model her name I think is Polina . This painting is in oils and is inspired by a photograph by Dennis Drozhzhin . I love painting portraits and when I saw this photo from Dennis I just had to paint it with his full permission of coarse . This painting was done just because I love the challenge of getting a portrait right although it is for sale if anyone is interested .

Title or Location: While man lay sleeping.
Mankinds significant insignificance on earth will always be judged. We sleep through the damage we create from holy war to plastic in the sea and beyond. If God created Adam why so imperfect?

Title or Location: Arches National Park in Utah.
So much to grab your attention and inspire at this national park. This particular scene offered everything that I love about desert landscapes. Beautiful colours and interesting rock shapes and textures. The distant views through the arch as it caught the low sun offered a challenge which always makes painting more enjoyable.

Title or Location: The Big Stage
This painting hung on my wall for about two years and was originally just the little girl with glasses, but I knew it just wasn't working. About two months ago, inspired by a Degas ballerina painting, I decided to rework, adding more young girls and the hint of an audience in the foreground. I am much happier with it now, but maybe that's because the little girl with glasses is my granddaughter. &129392

Title or Location: Mini Floral Paintings
The story behind these mini floral panties came from a tutorial where the artist was making party favors for a wedding and I thought this would be a nice gift idea or especially for parties or even putting up in your office cubicle

Title or Location: Across the Marsh
This Art was painted mostly 'plein aire' and finished in the studio from photo. I was standing on a small bridge that a local farmer had built over the drainage from the marsh. Oil on board and framed in attractive 'floating art' style frame.
